Seventh Max Project

I'm much happier with this picture than I am with the last two that I posted. This week we dove deeper into the realms of textures, and I didn't even really go overbgoard with this one- except for the mixed maps on the beach. I was thinking to myself, "Why should I do a beach with just sand?" So I chose a second map in my materials, and blended them with a noise thing.

I wish I could take credit for the palm trees, but those are the generic palms that comes with the program. Same with all the textures. I Am planning on making my own textures for my final project, which I'm now starting.

Oh yes! The ocean! I made a plane, converted it into an editable mesh, added a noise modifyer, but not nearly as severe as the noise mod that I put on the beach- and then put a picture of the sky onto it. after wards, I used the same picture and added that to the bump map, raised my bump to a couple hundred, added a refect map, and called it a day. I like how the clouds turned into waves.

Anyhow, that's Havenisle. Knocked over concrete barriers everywhere to provent the populace from driving on the beach.
